Oshkosh Community YMCA

government & nonprofit

The Oshkosh Downtown YMCA was originally built in the 1960s and because of the age of the building and trends in new fitness activities, required a larger and refreshed space. The new welcoming style and updated design trends would help attract newer generations for membership.

The Outcome

Through all phases of construction, EBi’s ability to provide furniture that was versatile with current styles in a large range of soft and hard surface selections, made the choice easy. EBi helped to select sit to stand desks to enhance employee well being, multi-purpose furniture for a range of collaboration, and adjustable furniture to allow for future use in other configurations.

The new YMCA is stylish, featuring current and functional design trends. Members comment on how inviting the feel is, especially the new social areas. “These social areas are part of what keeps people coming back,” Tom Blaze, President and CEO
