The Les Paul Library at Les Paul Middle School
ABOUT LES PAUL LIBRARY
In 2020 and 2021 (in the height of the Pandemic!) the Waukesha School District was in the midst of their district remodels. They were faced with multiple challenges for the facility improvements and updates to the 100-year-old Les Paul Middle School, including a refresh of the Les Paul Library.
For the library refresh, Jill Waggoner, Library Media Specialist in the District, had a specific vision for creating a more functional space. She came prepared with innovative ideas for classroom and common meeting space, data presentation, and collaborative working areas for the students. The outcome, executed by EBI’s sales and design team, became a showcase for the school and is now used for monthly district meeting.
While Jill knew exactly what she wanted and what was needed for the students, faculty, staff and administration, she needed help putting the plan in motion. “With all the ideas we had, we didn’t know how to do it. But EBI turned my visions and dreams into reality,” she said.
EBI was there with the design team and sales efforts to make this space versatile, practical and inviting with quality products, textiles and finishes, all while working with the confines of the existing space.
In Jill Waggoner’s words “I am just really happy with it” and it appears that the students, faculty and administration are as well. The new space now reflects the enduring and classic designs of the world famous Les Paul guitar while providing the students a wonderful learning environment. Jill said, “If given the chance, I would hope to work with Emmons Business Interiors again!”
