Green Bay Area Public School District

education

Two schools in Green Bay, John Dewey Academy of Learning (JDAL) and Northeast Wisconsin School of Innovation (NEW), combined locations in time to start the 2019 school year. Their goal was to provide spaces in which students and staff felt comfortable collaborating in technology rich learning environments and achieve continuity throughout the entire Green Bay Area School District.

The Outcome

EBi focused on creative furniture space planning, specifications, and finishes that would be durable and support the branding of the two spaces with the use of color. Through our design services and consultant expertise we were able to develop a highly unique space that was completely modular and suited the needs of two different organizations coexisting in the space.

EBi’s project management and install services allowed our team to service over 26 of the district’s schools during the summer break, and our warranty management continues to save time and effort for our valued clients at GBAPS.

“Our students and staff have completely fallen in love with the furniture. Our students are drawn to our common and collaboration spaces. Many students and parents comment how the school looks like a college setting. Our staff utilizes the flexibility that the furniture selections provide.”
