Outside Sales Representative: Furniture
Overview
Emmons Business Interiors, a division of Complete Office, is looking for a sharp, enthusiastic, and self-motivated workplace consultant to join our furniture sales team. After receiving “Fastest Growing Firms” awards in 2016 and 2017, we are growing exponentially and need you! EBI workplace consultants lead the organization’s business development efforts – seeking and assessing new opportunities, building strong relationships, and adding value for our customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Prospect in the local marketplace for new contract furniture opportunities
- Qualify customers to identify their needs with respect to furniture products
- Develop and maintain outstanding working relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
- Work closely with designers and customer support
- Nurture a strong relationship with design firms in the area
- Provide excellent customer service during and after the sale
- Meet sales objectives and goals as established by the company
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to act in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter, interested in maximizing results
- Excellent selling, customer service, and presentation skills
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to apply problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and in quoting software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize
- Must be able to work independently and within a team environment
